A Dozen Eggs

Hi everyone,

A dozen eggs seemed to be our theme this weekend. On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy decided that we should take advantage of the sunny weather and do an egg hunt. I spied 12 colored plastic eggs hidden all over the back yard. When I opened my treasures I found hot wheel cars, coins, fruit snacks, and some m&m’s.

On Sunday it was such a rainy, windy day that we stayed inside and dyed 12 hard boiled eggs. I had fun mixing up the colors, although blue was my favorite. My hands were stained long after we were done dying eggs.

Our last eggs were one short of a dozen. Instead of a baker’s dozen, I guess we did a Betz dozen. They sure were a sweet treat for the end of the day though.

Until next time . . .
